My name is Katrine Klinken, and I have worked with food since I was young. I was educated as a chef in some of the best restaurants in Copenhagen. I am now a cookery book author, a food writer and consultant based in Denmark. For several years I’ve been part of the international Slow Food Movement that promotes »good, clean and fair food for all«.

My books

As a trained chef, sommelier and with a degree in B.Sc. in Nutrition and Home Economics, I have authored several cookbooks for both children and adults and have been active in the international Slow Food movement for more than 10 years.

I believe that it's important to learn about food and meals from a young age, but you can learn to cook throughout your life. I find inspiration in using seasonal ingredients and traveling to meet local food craftsmen.
